Gibbes Burton, LLC is seeking an attorney with 2-5 years of experience to work on complex civil litigation matters. This is an excellent opportunity to assume significant responsibility and obtain hands-on experience in a collaborative and team-oriented environment. Our associate attorneys have the opportunity to do things such as:
Interview witnesses
Identify and interact with experts
Communicate with clients
Develop case strategies
Conduct legal and other technical research
Prepare pleadings
Prepare and respond to discovery requests
Prepare and argue motions
Work directly with paralegals and support staff
Attend and take depositions
Attend and participate in mediations
Attend and participate in trials

You must be client-focused, possess good organizational ability to track deadlines and juggle multiple tasks, be very detail-oriented, and possess excellent legal research and writing skills. Strong academic credentials and admission to the South Carolina bar are required.
Salary range of $85,000 - $100,000 depending upon work experience.
