The Law Firm of Regina B. Ward, LLC is seeking two ambitious and motivated Associate Attorneys to handle Family, Probate, Criminal, and Personal Injury matters. Experience is a plus, but attitude and intelligence are more important; willing to train a smart, eager, and motivated candidate.  This position provides an opportunity for advancement to Managing Attorney, as well as a defined track to Firm Partnership. GENERAL INFORMATION

Classification: Full Time

Office Location:  Myrtle Beach, SC (Horry County)

Office Hours: M-TH 8 a.m. - 5 p.m.; Friday 8 a.m. - 2 p.m.

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Provide zealous and diligent legal representation of client matters while maintaining ethical duties and civility
• Evaluate and identify issues, provide legal advice, and develop legal strategies for client matters
• Provide quality legal services and superior customer service to clients
• Draft correspondence, pleadings, orders, notices, memos and other legal documents
• Draft discovery, subpoenas, and respond to discovery requests
• Appearances for depositions, motions, hearings, and trials
• Perform other duties as assigned by Supervising Attorney

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Juris Doctor degree
• Licensed by the South Carolina Bar; or expected within 6 months
• Completion of Trial Experiences per SCACR Rule 403; or near completion
• Computer and word processing proficiency
• Professional dress and well-groomed appearance

SALARY AND BENEFITS

• Salary commensurate with experience; alternatively, base plus commission option
